 The KCP-4 closure printer is the central piece in an automated production line developed by Kase Equipment Corporation for decorating small closures. 

Depending on your requirements, we can furnish a complete turnkey system with printer, automatic infeed and take-off equipment.

 The KCP-4 printer gives you high quality; close registration four color printing and production rates of up to 4000 pieces per minute.  The machine maintains positive control of the closures through feeding, pre-treatment, printing, UV curing and box filling. 

An AC motor with a variable speed drive, override clutch protection of machine components, and a number of other features are incorporated for the handling and printing of these small pieces.

The infeed system for the KCP-4 closure printer has a high capacity hopper with a conveyor that feeds caps to the printer so that they are properly oriented for printing.  After printing and curing (the UV curing system is built onto the printer), another conveyor routes the printed closures to a hopper where they are counted as they are dispensed into boxes.  When the maximum count for a box is reached, a box shifter keyed to the counter moves a new box into position under the dispenser.  They system is fast, economical, and worry free.
